Squadron Fundraising - Kroger Community Rewards (KCR)

KCR makes fund-raising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do everyday. Once you link your card to our organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Plus Card! By enrolling you help our organization raise money for Squadron activities and resources for the support of our Cadet Program.  This does not affect the rewards you receive for your purchases, fuel rewards etc.

Please share this information with family, friends and encourage them to enroll.  While we receive annual funding for training, flying and operational readiness expenses; Squadron activities such as Squadron Fun nights, field trips to Air Force Museum etc… are often funded out of the pockets of our Senior members or Parents.  By fundraising we have these funds available to offset those costs and also to purchase items necessary to support our Cadets.

CAP Tax Exempt Status

An important part of soliciting donations or conducting fund raising activities is CAP’s federal tax exempt status. The IRS has ruled that CAP and its subordinate units are exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This makes donations to CAP eligible for deductions from income by donors as “charitable contributions” to the extent allowed by law.
